1. Agreeing to These Terms

BeaverPlot ("the App") is operated by Glucoplate Inc., a Canadian corporation ("we" or "us"). You must be at least 18 years old to use the App. By agreeing in the App or using it, you accept these Terms. If you don't agree, please don't use the App.

2. What BeaverPlot Does

BeaverPlot uses your device's LiDAR scanner to create floor plans and 3D models of rooms, exports them to formats such as IFC, DXF, PDF and USDZ, lets you share tours and reports by link, and offers AI features that draft reports and home inventories. It is a scanning, estimation and drafting aid.

3. Measurements Can Be Wrong

Scans and measurements are approximations. Lighting, surfaces, room shape, the device and other factors can make them inaccurate, and calibration may help but can't guarantee accuracy. CHECK ALL MEASUREMENTS, MODELS AND FLOOR PLANS WITH PHYSICAL MEASUREMENTS, AND HAVE A QUALIFIED PROFESSIONAL VERIFY THEM, BEFORE USING THEM FOR CONSTRUCTION, RENOVATION, DESIGN, PERMITS, REAL ESTATE, INSURANCE OR ANY OTHER PURPOSE WHERE ACCURACY MATTERS.

4. AI Can Make Mistakes

AI Reports and Home Inventory send the photos and notes you choose to a third-party AI provider to create a draft. AI can get things wrong, miss things or invent them. AI OUTPUT IS A DRAFT AND STARTING POINT ONLY, NOT A FINAL, CERTIFIED OR PROFESSIONAL REPORT. It is not legal, financial, engineering, appraisal or inspection advice. Review and edit everything before you rely on it, share it or use it in a transaction, and make sure your use follows the laws that apply to you, including fair-housing, advertising and professional-licensing rules.

5. Sharing Tours and Reports

Anyone with a tour or report link (and, for a report, its PIN) can open it. You are responsible for what you share and for having the right to share it, including photos of other people's homes or belongings. You can delete a shared tour or report in the App. We may remove shared content that breaks these Terms or the law.

6. Subscriptions

Some features need a paid plan, such as Pro. What each plan includes is shown in the App and may change over time, and prices are shown in the App Store. Subscriptions renew automatically unless cancelled at least 24 hours before the end of the current period, and are managed in your Apple ID settings. Payment is charged to your Apple ID account when you confirm. Refunds are handled by Apple under its policies and as the law requires. Shared tours and reports may be removed after a grace period once a plan ends.

7. Acceptable Use

Please don't use the App unlawfully, reverse engineer it, overload or interfere with our servers, try to get around its security, or present its output as the sole basis for a professional certification or building-code compliance.

8. Your Content

Scans, projects and exports you create belong to you. You let us store and process them only as needed to provide the features you use, as described in our Privacy Policy. The App, its design and branding belong to Glucoplate Inc.

9. Apple

These Terms are between you and Glucoplate Inc., not Apple. Apple is not responsible for the App or its support. If the App doesn't match an applicable warranty, you can tell Apple, which may refund the purchase price under its policies; to the extent the law allows, Apple has no other warranty obligation for it. Apple is not responsible for handling claims about the App, and Apple and its subsidiaries are third-party beneficiaries of these Terms. You confirm you are not in a country under a U.S. Government embargo or on a U.S. Government restricted-party list. The App Store's own terms also apply.

10. Availability, Changes and Shutdown

Exports, AI features and sharing need an internet connection and our servers, and may sometimes be unavailable. We may change, suspend or stop any feature, or the App, for any reason. Where we reasonably can, we will give notice in the App before we stop offering it, so you can export your work. We may transfer the App and these Terms to another company, for example in a sale.

11. Disclaimer and Limitation of Liability

TO THE EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, THE APP IS PROVIDED "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE", WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, INCLUDING ANY WARRANTY THAT MEASUREMENTS, MODELS OR AI OUTPUT ARE ACCURATE. To the extent permitted by law, Glucoplate Inc. is not liable for indirect, incidental, special or consequential damages, including losses from relying on measurements, models, floor plans or AI drafts, errors in construction, design or permits, or lost scans or files. Our total liability is limited to the amount you paid for the App in the 12 months before the claim, or CA$100, whichever is greater. Nothing in these Terms limits rights you have under the consumer protection laws where you live.

12. Indemnity

To the extent permitted by law, you agree to cover our reasonable costs from third-party claims arising from your misuse of the App, your breach of these Terms or the law, or content you share through the App. This doesn't apply to the extent a claim is caused by our own breach or negligence.

13. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of Ontario and the federal laws of Canada that apply there, and disputes go to the courts of Ontario, except where the consumer protection laws where you live give you the right to bring a claim in your local courts. If part of these Terms can't be enforced, the rest still applies.

14. Changes and Contact

We may update these Terms. Changes are posted here with a new date, and for a material change we will take reasonable steps to tell you in the App and may ask you to agree again. Questions: support@beaverplot.com.
