A PDF is fine until the client opens it on a phone. A web link opens anywhere, shows the floor plan at full size, and can be pulled back when the job is done. BeaverPlot publishes any AI report to a beaverplot.com/r/… link that the reader opens in a normal browser — no app, no account.

What the viewer sees

The report title, property, date, and the “draft for review” framing — the same as the PDF.
The measured floor plan with photos pinned on it; tap a pin to jump to that photo.
The room-by-room narrative with measured facts and source notes.
Your name and contact details if you added them to the report.

The page is unbranded apart from a small “made with BeaverPlot” line and is not indexed by search engines. Nobody can find it without the link. It is a read-only view: the viewer cannot edit the report, see your other projects, or reach anything else on your device. If you set a PIN, they see a single PIN prompt before the report loads and nothing else until it's entered.

Publish a link

Finish the report first

Review the draft in Projects › project › AI Report. The link shows exactly what is in the report at the moment you publish; edits afterwards need a re-publish.

Tap Publish web report

On the report screen choose Publish web report. Sharing web reports is part of the Pro AI plan, the same plan that generates the report.

Add a PIN if the content is sensitive

Turn on Protect with a PIN and choose a short code. The viewer enters it once in their browser. Send the PIN in a separate message from the link — a text for one, an email for the other.

Copy and send

The link appears in the iOS share sheet. Paste it into a message, email, or your own client portal. It looks like beaverplot.com/r/7f2ka9.

Revoke when you're done

Go to Settings › Shared Reports. Every link you have published is listed with its date and PIN status; swipe or tap Delete and the link stops working immediately. The report itself stays on your device.

Tip

Publishing a link and publishing a 3D tour are separate. A report link never exposes the walkable 3D model, and a tour link never exposes your photos or notes.

What is stored online

Only reports you choose to publish. The published copy — plan, photos, text — is held so the link can serve it, and is removed when you delete the link. Reports you never publish stay on your device. See privacy in the user guide for the exports and tour details.

Common questions

Does the viewer need an account?

No. A browser and, if you set one, the PIN.

Can I update a published report?

Edit the report and publish again; the new version replaces the old at the same link.

Can the viewer download the PDF?

The web view is for reading. Send the PDF alongside it if the client needs a file for their records.

What if I lose the PIN?

Delete the link from Shared Reports and publish a new one with a new PIN.
